The Retail Division at MICHAEL KORS is a continuously growing network of more than 30 Outlets, 80 Lifestyle stores, and 100 Concessions/Shop in Shops in 21 European Countries. Our EMEA Retail team is passionate, driven, multicultural and has a wonderful international spirit.
Who You Are:
The Store Manager is responsible for building and leading a team that is dedicated to driving the business, leading with responsibility for all aspects of the management of the store.
What You’ll Do:
People
- Inspire, lead and coach the store team to create a culture of performance delivery and accountability.
- Recruit top talent, training and developing staff to build a team of true MK Ambassadors.
- Drive team retention, ensuring actionable Talent and Succession plans are in place.
- Support, implement and provide follow-up for all training and onboarding for new joiners.
- Proactively manage and resolve all HR issues in collaboration with the HR Department.
- Partner with DM to review the integrity of PTS, identifying opportunities to improve.
Service
- Led the team of MK Ambassadors to ensure they are prioritising exceptional customer experiences to
- drive loyalty and repeat business.
- Ensure MK Ambassadors maintain client communication by utilising all available clienteling apps.
- Proactively manage client database and utilise information to increase sales.
- Build and maintain good communication with the District Manager and members of the corporate office, mall office,
- retail partners and other stores, collaborating and influencing to drive performance across the district.
Sales
- Meet and exceed sales goals, holding self and team accountable for the results.
- Analyse reports and develop action plans to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
- Work with the Team on Quarterly Planners to ensure the best business plans are set to achieve targets.
Operations
- Ensure store schedule is optimised, having the right people at the right place at the right time.
- Collaborate with DVM to implement and maintain all visual merchandising directives and ensure the execution
- of effective strategies.
- Partner with logistics and product teams to ensure appropriate assortment for the store, using product tools
- effectively to maintain size and style integrity.
What You’ll Need:
- Relevant proven retail and management experience with a fast-paced retailer
- Able to work under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and follow-up skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Fluent English
