Makes approx. 20 pancakes
Ingredients:
- 200 g butter
- 210 g wheat flour
- 130 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla powder
- 6 medium/large eggs
- ½ litre whole milk
- A little fat to grease the pan for the first pancake
Instructions:
- Measure all ingredients.
- Melt the butter and let it cool to room temperature.
- Combine butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs and flour in a bowl and mix until smooth.
- Whisk in the milk.
Cook the pancakes on low heat.
- Grease the pan only before the first pancake.
- After that, the batter releases enough fat on its own, so you won’t need to add more.
- Fry the pancakes as soon as the batter is ready – if stored in the fridge, the butter will cause the batter to thicken and form lumps.
Storage:
- In the fridge: up to 1 week
- In the freezer: up to 3 months
